Big Texas Sky

Why do the skies seem so much bigger in Texas? This windmill is my Dad's backyard and this photo hangs in our bedroom.

Yes, it's true. I'm starting another eponymous blog. This time, I'll be sticking almost exclusivly to photography and leaving the "Hey Dude" behind. I plan to post the best of the shots I take at work, on assignment and personally. I'll also let you know when I post a new picasa web album, a new photo on flickr, red bubble, or anywhere else.

To start, a photo of my honey on our patio. She was out blowing bubbles by herself and I just thought it was so cute that I grabbed a flash and a light stand and disruppted the whole affair. But she was understanding and I think I ended up with a few nice shots.
